Myska on the road to Cheltenham
We have a ten to follow runner in Myska today. She is running at Thurles in the Maiden Hurdle at 13:55
This another one of Supreme Racings hurdling débutantes and Steve Massey of Supreme who we know very well thinks she should definitely win but at the prices she is not a betting proposition. After winning her bumper in impressive style Surpreme and Willie Mullins decided to put her away and by all reports she has come on leaps and bounds since then.
Depending on how she progresses she will go for the Mares Novice hurdle at Cheltenham and is currently priced at 14/1 for that and her price may well drop if she runs well today.
Here is the extract from the Ten to Follow manual
This once raced daughter of Presenting is yet another exciting prospect, whose season target will hopefully be the new mares race at the Festival. She bolted up in a Clonmel bumper in a very fast time, and the second that day has gone on to win twice and run second to the smart Whiteout. Myska was then put away and given time to mature. She has showed that benefit by coming back a much stronger mare and at this stage is showing all the right things at home.
Supreme have high hopes for Myska so lets hope she runs a good race today and comes home sound.
Timeform View - Once-raced winner in bumpers. Fairly useful winner at 16f in bumpers. 4/6, won 12-runner bumper at Clonmel (16.5f, good to soft) on NH debut, well on top finish. Off 7 months. Makes hurdles debut.
