Hi everyone,

firstly many thanks to those of you who have emailed in with your support regarding the service. It's quite inspiring to hear from members who understand the ups and downs of the game and it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
We got back in the winner's enclosure yesterday with Red Alert winning nicely although even that was tempered with a Rule 4 deduction of 10p in the pound. Our other selection High Hopes ran OK and came in 3rd to give us a small return on the EW so all in all a much better day than we have had of late.
There is just the one Class 2 race tomorrow but it's a six-runner trappy affair and no selection for us. We will be back tomorrow night with a look at Wednesday's races.
Good luck
The team at Cleeve

2:50 Yarmouth - 1m3½f (1m3f104y) Dan Hague, Yarmouth's Number 1 Bookmaker Handicap (Class 2) (3yo 0-100)

Race Analysis:

Cleeve top rated:
1) Bombyx – 55
2) Protected Guest – 53
3) Shuhood – 50

Race analysis:
Just the six runners in what looks like a trappy affair with some unexposed 3-year-olds going up in Class.
Bombyx makes his handicap debut and may well find this a lot tougher and could struggle at this level.
Protected Guest was a course and distance winner in a 4 runner handicap last time out but has to contend with a 6lbs rise in the weights which will make it difficult.
Shuhood looks vulnerable at this level. He does have a decent strike rate but all his winning has been at a lower level than this.
Of the others no doubt Great Beyond will be a warm order due to his demolition job in his last run at Wolverhampton but he would have to translate that form to the turf and this is a higher class race, plus the fact it wasn’t a particularly quick time for the race.
All in all not a betting proposition for us.
