our only selection so far this week Mrs Bouquet was again very disappointing. She gave virtually the same below-par performance as her first run and it looks like there is something amiss with her as she is better than that. We will keep a watching brief on her from now on until she returns to form.
We move on and have a selection from Haydock for tomorrow and we will be back on Friday night with Saturdays selections.

1.45 Haydock 6f Watch RacingTV In Stunning HD Handicap (Class 2) (4yo+ 0-98)
Cleeve Top 3 Rated:
1) Aljady – 116
1) Sir Maximilian – 116
3) Barbill – 112
3) Top Breeze – 112
Celsius has won five of his last seven starts all at a lower level and all more importantly over the minimum distance of five furlongs. He has been well beaten over six furlongs previously and his weight rise of six pounds will not help.
Sir Maximilian is fully exposed and is unlikely to show any further improvement at the age of eleven and although he does look overpriced, he has place claims at best.
The early market leader is Motagally, but his better form has been on all-weather surfaces, although the return to six furlongs should help his chances. His price looks too short to me.
Barbill has won off much higher marks than this and has dropped to a decent handicap mark now, but he has not won since November 2018. Barbill has shown his best form on ground with cut, so is likely to find this too quick.
Top Breeze has won at this level; however, his best form is on all-weather surfaces. On top form he could challenge here at a reasonable price, but the stable is going through an icy patch with no winners in 31 runs recently.
Aljady is yet to win at Class 2 but has placed in this level off a two pounds higher mark and is at least progressive. He comes into the race in form and is a previous course and distance winner. Aljady is drawn beside the likely pace and can tuck in behind the leaders before moving through in the final stages.
3.15 Haydock 7f (7f37y) EBF Eternal Fillies' Stakes (Listed Race) (Class 1) (3yo)
Cleeve Top 3 Rated:
1) Under The Stars – 127
1) Boomer – 127
3) Althiqa – 103
3) Jovial – 103
I could not separate the main contenders here with the joint top-rated the only ones to have won at this level before.
Also, with unexposed types, Althiqa, Jovial and Spring Of Love potentially improving this is too tough to call. It looks like the type of race that will produce multiple winners going forward so one to note. No Bet.
