firstly many thanks for all the emails giving us your personal stories of yesterday. Sounds like some of you had huge payouts with all sorts of multiples and holidays have been booked and paid for. I will try and reply to everyone personally, so if I haven't done so just yet don't think we are ignoring you.
As we have kept on saying, this game is all about managing the ups and downs. After last weekend's "Ouch" day we recovered all those losses and more to start the month with a bang.
I am not going to review every runner from yesterday here as we will cover them in the weekly review.
In saying that getting the winner of the Derby with Anthony Van Dyck was particularly sweet and to be honest I didn't think Jamie Heffernan was going to get a clear run at one point but when he got him on the rail he got to the front and stayed on in a thrilling finish with the first 5 home covered by less than a length. Plus Ornate our ante-post for the Dash led from start to finish at a massive price of 33/1 on the day (we did put him up ante-post at 16s)
So a great day at the office and we hope you all enjoyed it, we certainly did.
We have looked at the only Class 2 for today but don't have a selection.
We have a Royal Ascot ante-post Lucky 15 coming out tomorrow as well as our regular eyecatchers notebook so keep an eye on those inboxes...
