as long term members will know when we have a bumper day like Sunday we don't shout from the roof tops (perhaps we should), as we know that days like that don't come along every week or even month, so we take the profits and bump up the betting bank to weather the down periods which will inevitably come - its the nature of the game we are in.
In saying that we would like to thank everyone who emailed in with their testimonials and stories of mega paying multiples - well done you shrewdies!
We had 4 selections with 3 winners and an EW Placed
Frontiersman won by 2 1/2 lengths after being held in midfield, he didn't get a clear run 2f out and was switched left to lead 1f out, he hung slightly right but won readily and would have been a lot further in front if not having problems in running.
Somehow was steadied at the start and was held up out the back, he had to squeeze through runners 2f out but once in the clear he quickly went to the front and stayed on strongly to win by 3 1/2 lengths.
Mr Lupton was held up and closed to track leaders but had to wait for a gap 1f out and once he was clear quickened nicely to win by 1 1/2 lengths
Daban went right leaving the stalls, was steadied and dropped in behind, she ran a great race but was never going to beat the winner, but a place still returned a small profit on the race. Rhododenron was a little unlucky in running and if she had got a clear she would have been a lot closer to the sustained gamble of the week; Winter who was punted all week from 33/1 to 8/1 SP.
So we go into battle at Chester this week where we will be covering all the action and lets hope we can bag a few more winners.
