Hi there,

Belated Breath did the business for us today. She was heavily supported and returned an SP of 2/1, there was a small rule 4 (10p in the £) as Fille du Reve was a non-runner. She jumped well and Oisin Murphy always had her in the van, 2 furlongs out I thought she would win but she didn't find quite as much as I expected and it was hard work with protracted challenges from Betsey Trotter and Goodnight Girl but she was always hanging on and prevailed by half a length.

We've had a couple of emails lately from members who have read the post late and missed the advised price. Obviously the prices on our tips do generally shorten but that is understandable as it is time-sensitive information and our members are all placing there bets. To try and mitigate things we have begun sending out Twitter notifications when a selection is posted, and we also give you a heads up at the beginning of the week as to which days we are looking at.

Interestingly we have just begun an analysis of the season's results to date and we are actually more profitable to Betfair SP than our advised prices, so if you have an exchange account that's another option... more on this when we have finished.
We have another selection at Haydock tomorrow so down to business...

Good luck,
The team at Cleeve

Unabated 1 point each way at 10/1 with Hills and Betfair (4 places)

Race Analysis:

Cleeve Top 4 Rated:
1) Unabated – 133
2) Ice Lord – 111
2) Tawny Port – 111
4) Danzeno – 107

Race analysis:
Ice Lord was beaten by a total of twenty five lengths on his last two starts since coming back from a break of 115 days. He is now two pounds below his last winning mark, but it’s hard to see him winning in his present form.

Danzeno remains on top weight and despite having won off this mark I think the ground is going to be against him here. If he runs it is probably to bring his weight down, as he is likely to finish down the field.

Tawny Port is suited by cut in the ground, but disappointed last time on his favoured soft ground. He remains high enough in the weights and it will take a career-best for him to win here. If bouncing back to form I can see him placing, but don’t think he can win in this company.

Unabated won on his first start on soft, but he has been showing his talents on all-weather tracks in the main. He won last time but remains on a favourable mark especially when you consider he has finished 3/7 in a Group 3 race. Unabated has also won off a mark nine pounds higher than this, so I expect him to go very close here and will hopefully win.

Race Analysis:

Cleeve Top 3 Rated:
1) Don’t Give Up – 65
2) Seniority – 62
3) Zhui Feng – 58

Race analysis:
Don’t Give It Up was interesting after a break of 554 days having switched from Godolphin to Tony Newcombe. If he retains his ability, he could go close and Oisin Murphy booked is a positive, but his best form is over further so this could be a sharpener for another run. Interestingly he carries an entry for the Cambridgeshire at the end of the month. No Bet.
