we've had a few emails from some new members specifically asking about the current number of selections we are putting out.
As we have stated many times in the past, this is the most difficult time of the year to find winners. The Flat is just getting going with horses having their first run or having been running on the all-weather, and question marks as to fitness or AW/turf can make a mockery of the form book.
Conversely, the jumps season is in its very final stages and question marks over whether horses who have had a busy campaign have gone over the top which can again throw the form book out of the window.
We are very much focused on long term profits and are very selective and we do not have selections for the sake of it. If you want to make a long-term profit at this game you have to know when to sit on your hands and resist the urge to get involved.
April is always tough for any service and we know through our industry connections that most of the well regarded and trusted services have made a loss this month which shows just how tough it is. So We make no excuses for the low number of selections for the last couple of weeks, we would rather sit things out than putting up one for the sake of it.
Also, you have to appreciate that we do need to take our foot off the gas for a breather at this time of the year as its the only time of the year that we can step back and review the results and make any tweaks we need so we can improve the profitability. Don't forget we work Christmas day, Boxing day and all the Bank holidays!
We know you guys want plenty of action as the Flat historically has at least 50% more bets than the jumps due to better class midweek racing
We hope this answers some of the questions we have been getting this week and we are really looking forward to the Flat season.
As an aside we have been proofed and reviewed by the independent and trusted Smart Betting Club and we have been very pleased with the glowing review we have received. We can't publish this review as it's for their members but if you want to read this click here
