Lyndon B

Race Analysis:

Three-year-old bay gelding
Trained by George Scott
Owned by the Gredley family
By Charm Spirit out of Kelsey Rose (by Most Welcome)

Lyndon B is an improving three-year-old, who has been gelded and is expected to be useful over seven furlongs and one mile. He has seven career runs to date, with one win and five places. In his last run, he stepped up to class three at Glorious Goodwood on July 31st in a handicap over seven furlongs.

He was beaten a neck and 3/4 of a length by Dirty Rascal and Salute The Soldier. He was squeezed and bumped early on then did all his best work late, finishing fast to be close up.

In his previous run, Lyndon B won a class four handicap on July 18th over a mile, comfortably beating Silkstone by two lengths. This win justified his step up to class three where he can progress further.

Ralphy Boy Two

Race Analysis:

Two-year-old bay gelding
Trainer by Alastair Whillans
By Gutaifan out of St Athan (Authorized)

Ralphy Boy Two has had three career runs to date. He was gelded even before he had stepped on a racecourse, so must have been a bit of a handful at home!

His last run was a significant step up on his two previous efforts, being beaten only 3/4 of a length by Fuwaiyrit over six furlongs on heavy going. He stayed on really well that day to chase the winner home on ground that may not have best suited him.

His two previous runs were nothing special, he finished down the field in class five races and those runs can be considered educational.

The horse’s breeding on the dam’s side should allow Ralphy Boy Two to be effective at up to twelve furlongs. Therefore we expect to see the best of him when he has stepped up again in distance in the future.
