Frequently asked questions
tips are accessible via the main menu...
Click on "Racing Tips" then click the "Selections" button.
To view member tips you must be logged in.
If you click on a tips post and you are taken to the 'Join Now' page you have not logged in, or your membership is not valid.
This might mean that you have cancelled your subscription, put it on hold or your renewal payment has failed which is normally due to a new card.
When logging in, select the 'remember me button', this will cache your username/password and speed up the process the next time you visit.
We have selections most days but not every day, we run our customised ratings on all Class 2+ races. if there are ratings we will always post them on our 'ratings' page on our website, regardless of whether we have selections or not.
You will receive an email alerting you that we have posted new selections or ratings, usually around 10.30 on the day of racing, this has been changed from the night before as we found early markets were not robust enough to allow all members to get on.
We will also send you an email if we have nothing for the day's racing.
With every selection, we provide the best available odds in the market at the time of posting the selections. These are checked on Oddschecker.com immediately prior to posting.
We advise tips using a points-based system and all our results are calculated using this point based system
We will advise a tip as a 1 point each way or 2 points win bet etc. It's up to individual members to allocate a percentage of their betting bank to equate to one point.
Some members may be betting to £5 a point but others may be betting to £50 a point. A 2 point win bet is £10 for the former or £100 for the latter. A 1 point E/W bet is £10 or £100 respectively.
You always have full control of your membership. Every time you log in you will be taken to the Members dashboard and there is a big button there that says "Cancel My Subscription"
Yes, you can. This facility allows you to pause your subscription if you are going on holiday and you want to bank days that you have paid for. Take your subscription off "On Hold" and you will restore full member access.
All this is done on the 'My Account Page'
If you have received an email telling you that your renewal has failed it means that payment from your card has not gone through.
This can be due to:-
1) Having insufficient funds in your account
2) Having received a new card.
In either case, login as normal and go to your My Account page then click on Orders you will see your payment sat there as either Pending or Failed. You can retry the payment if your account now has sufficient funds or using your new card details.
Again it's up to individual members how much money they want to allocate to their betting bank, but you should never bet with money you can't afford to lose.
If you are a cautious punter we would advise a 100 point bank which has never been broken during our 9-year existence. More aggressive punters may use a 60-point bank, this has been broken twice in 9 years so it's statistically unlikely to happen.
When it comes to staking, people can either use a percentage of the current bank per point or wait until the value of the bank doubles, then double the stake per point.
