Frequently asked questions
We only analyse Class 2 and above races. Form is proven to hold up a lot better in higher class races. Therefore we don't have selections every day apart from when the big Festivals such as Cheltenham and Royal Ascot.
You will always get an email alerting you that we have posted new selections in the member's area, no email means no selections.
Our tips are posted on the website and are accessible either via the Main Menu under "Selections" or by clicking the "Selections" button on the member's dashboard.
Tips are generally posted the night before racing. Normally they are posted by 8pm, but sometimes they may be posted by 11am in the morning if inspections are planned or we think there may be significant changes in the going.
If we are posting tips in the morning, we will email the night before and let you know.
With every selection, we provide the best available odds in the market at the time of posting the selections. These are checked on Oddschecker.com immediately prior to posting.
We advise tips using a points-based system and all our results are calculated using this point based system
We will advise a tip as a 1 point each way or 2 points win bet etc. It's up to individual members to allocate a percentage of their betting bank to equate to one point.
Some members may be betting to £5 a point but others may be betting to £50 a point. A 2 point win bet is £10 for the former or £100 for the latter. A 1 point E/W bet is £10 or £100 respectively.
Again it's up to individual members how much money to allocate to their betting bank. You should never bet with money you can't afford to lose.
If you are a cautious punter we would advise a 100 point bank which has never been broken during our 9-year existence. More aggressive punters may use a 60-point bank, this has been broken twice in 9 years so it's statistically unlikely to happen.
When it comes to staking, people can either use a percentage of the current bank per point or wait until the bank doubles, then double their point value.
We provide our unique ratings for every race we analyse. Even when we are not making a tip in the race we still provide you with the ratings in case you want to bet yourself.
Our ratings have been refined over the years and crunch 12 different form factors to come up with a rating for every runner in the race.
Our form team then digs deeper into the race conditions and other variables such as stable form then assess value in the betting markets to come up with a tip. Not every tip will be in our 3 top-rated as other factors may outweigh the rating.
When you joined and provided your email address you were automatically added to our system and sent your receipt etc. We use this email address to alert you as soon as tips are posted on the website.
We also post alerts to members when we have tips, to get them you must follow us on on Twitter @CleeveRacing

All this is done on the 'My Account Page'
If you have received an email telling you that your renewal has failed it means that payment from your card has not gone through.
This can be due to:-
1) Having insufficient funds in your account
2) Having received a new card.
In either case, login as normal and go to your My Account page then click on Orders you will see your payment sat there as either Pending or Failed. You can retry the payment if your account now has sufficient funds or using your new card details.
