Highlight of the week....

A toss up between Chain of Daisies 7 length romp and Gunmetal's gutsy front-running performance in the Great St. Wilfred... at the prices I guess Gunmetal wins in a photo!

Low point of the week

Lethal Promise was anything but lethal and his run must have come as a big disappointment to connections considering he had come all the way from Ireland.

Weekly Comment

We started the week off with Chain Of Daisies who made a mockery of the listed fillies race at Salisbury. She was well backed on the day and went off the 7/4 favourite which made our 7/2 look very generous. She broke well and got a pretty uncontested lead for the first half of the race then simply ran away from them in the straight to record a long looking 7 length victory. A great start to the punting week!

We had to wait until Friday for our next action which saw Lethal Promise contesting the fillies Listed race at Newbury. She travelled well enough for the first couple of furlongs but the pace of the race was all on the far side and those drawn on the stands never got into it. She also put her head in the air a bit when she came under pressure which is something that has gone into our notebooks

Saturday was a bit of a red letter day as we had our biggest priced winner for a while with Gunmetal taking the Great St. Wilfred at a juicy 14/1 and Spring Loaded finishing in the places at 10/1 was added gravy! He jumped out and made all up against the stands rails for a very comfortable 3 length victory which was made all the more impressive by the fact that the next 4 home were all on the far rails.

Although Victory Angel was a bit weak in the pre-race market he looked as though he had every chance of giving us another winner as he travelled through the first half of the race very strongly and improved smoothly to range alongside the leaders inside the final two. But disappointingly he didn't find as much at it looked as though he would and he went down by just over a couple of lengths in 3rd.

Cleeve Racing's £10 Offer

Why not try a month as a full member for just £10. That's a 75% saving on the full price so give it a go... you won't regret it!

Hi there, just wanted to thank you for a great service. I’ve been betting for the last 25years and haven’t done too badly on my own but after reading the gee gees review I decided to sign up for the months trial period for a tenner…and what a great decision that has turned out to be. I’ve made a decent profit over the month and just signed up for another month on Saturday. That has already paid off with Borderforce winning at recommended odds of 20/1 out to 22/1 at the off. Let’s hope the rest of month continues as its started. The way things have been going I can see myself signing up for a year at the end of this month. Thanks again

Great work again Cleeve racing team, a good price winner on Saturday and an each way return, and then an excellent Monday, thanks to Borderforce (one horse, one bet, one winner!!). A lot of racing papers/sites were negative about Borderforce chances, but the Cleeve racing team knowledge came through. Great work also selecting Gunmetal to win the previous weekend, and also having an each way return in the race with the second selection. Keep up the good work, and about long term results and not short term gains. Roll on the weekend!! Thanks again, Colm.
