Cleeve Racing monthly review – May 2023

Hi everyone,

Mike and Mark takes us through May's complete results, from what was a somewhat up-and-down month, but we eventually made a decent overall profit on the month of 16+ points, which is what counts.

That now makes it 13 months in a row that Cleeve Racing has returned a profit, which is little short of phenomenal, in this cyclical game!

Have a watch, and a listen, and please let us know what you think, in the comments box below.

Best wishes,
The team at Cleeve

P.S. If your not a member, our heavily discounted trial month gives you a chance to try Cleeve, and make your mind up for yourself.

It's only £10 (no VAT!) which saves you nearly 70% on our full price, and, you get every members bet for a full month.

The start of the flat season is always the same, horses with no current form so it’s always difficult- I’ve put a few of our horses on my ATR Tracker to keep an eye on them – keep going lads, you can’t please all the people all of the time

      Thanks Dennis

        Mark,

In your selections section for Saturday 4th June you’ve made comments that there were 2 out of 3 selections placed, those being Balon D’Or and Magical Sunset. Yet in your results section you have only Balon D’Or placed which incidentally is accurate as Magical Sunset was 5th. Can you please be a bit more accurate with stuff like this as it needs to be correct to instil confidence at our end.

          Hi Andrew
Yes you are correct that in the post for the following selections to members it was stated that we had 2 places where it was only 1. But as you state we reported just the one place in the results so the results reported are correct.
          Thanks for pointing that out.
          Cheers

Chaps…..this from your Saturday 10th June selections write up….

‘Frankie Dettori and John Gosden saddle the hot favourite, Time Lock, 10 days ahead of Royal Ascot… can his retirement end any sweeter? we shall find out. ‘

What are you looking at?? Those two were with Mimikyu. Moore/Charlton is the combo for Time Lock. Please, please please….ATD! Attention to detail. You are hoping to inspire us to follow your tips surely? How can we be confident you are making any sense with your tips when you write stuff like this which is so factually wrong?

              Hi Andrew
Yes mistaken on that one but we all are allowed to make mistakes. The final results are what matters

I’v got one question, if u can help me please.
If i bet 20 stake on a horse to win. How much should i bet on horse to win and each way ?
    10 win 10 each way or 20 20

    • mark jackson on June 6, 2023 at 7:38 pm

      Hi Kristiyan
We always advise selections to a points system.
So if you are betting to say £10 a point and we advise 1 point win then that’s a £10 stake.
If we advise 1 point each way then if you are staking £10 a point then that’s £10 each way which is a total of £20.
      Hope this answered your question.
      Cheers
      Mark
