we have our weekly antepost selection running at Cheltenham on Saturday in a competitive handicap chase. Our selection is a horse that has been given a break since Christmas so comes here fresh and well from an in-form stable. It is a race with 4 places paying 1/4 the odds and our pick looks to have a good each-way chance and be good value at current prices...

25th January, 1.50 Cheltenham, Paddy Power 45 sleeps to Cheltenham Trophy Handicap Chase (class 1) (0-160 5YO+) 2M 4F 127Y
Highway One O One is an eight year old briar gelding. His sire is Stowaway and out of dam High Accord. He is trained by Chris Gordon, who is in very good form having had 2 winners from 8 runners in the last 14 days.
Highway One O One has had eleven runs over fences, winning twice and being placed on five other occasions. He came back to form last time out at Kempton at Christmas when running Just A Sting close over three miles, but he is equally adept at two and a half miles.
Highway One O One has been given a few weeks break after four runs in quick succession. His opposition in this race contains a number of horses who find it hard to win these days. To name a few, Lalor, Spiritofthegames, Jerry’sback, Cepage and Garde La Victoire.
Warthog won well last time out at this course and will be a danger if putting his best foot forward. Flowery looks unexposed but it is hard to tell as to whether he is up to this grade. Wishful Dreaming has no weight to carry and maybe competitive if putting in a good show.
At 8/1 with four places and with this race being his only entry at present, Highway One O One looks a good each-way bet.
